Awakened Health Co. is a Gold Coast-based health and wellness firm that encourages healthy living by incorporating short 10-minute breaks and simple rituals into our daily routines. This concept guided the creation of their 100% organic loose-leaf tea and essential oil products.
What we did:
We printed fully customisable labels for their range of essential oil bottles. We were asked by Awakened Health and Co. to create a label that looks professional and soothing to the eye which is the very essence of the product. They needed a label that was oil resistant and can last on the product for at least 2 years. The label had to be of the highest quality so that they can be easily hand-applied to their clear glass bottles.
What we delivered:
For Awakened Health we printed a label that measured 5cm x 6.5cm label. They wanted some elements in metallic rose gold, while the rest to be in black on a white background. The artwork provided by the company had to be altered to make it fit for digital printing, which was the only roadblock. But that was communicated and resolved in no time. We delivered 5 designs, with 100 labels for each of the designs.
Why it's unique:
Each label was created using silver polypropylene, a food-grade polymer that is naturally oil-resistant. Everywhere on the label that wasn't supposed to be metallic was covered in a layer of white ink. We applied the right colour directly to the silver to create the appearance of metallic rose gold. All in all, it was a pleasure working with Awakened and what’s great is that we are on to their next batch of products and have already printed a few labels for their tea packs.
